Position Overview:

As a Barista at THub Cafe, you will play a crucial role in creating delightful boba drinks and snacks for our customers. You will be responsible for mastering the art of preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including boba teas, coffees, and snacks, while ensuring that customers have a positive and memorable experience at our cafe.

Responsibilities:

1. Beverage Preparation:
   • Prepare boba drinks, coffees, and other specialty beverages with precision and consistency, following our recipes and guidelines.
   • Ensure that all drinks are made to order, paying attention to special requests, and ensuring that each drink is visually appealing and delicious.
2. Customer Service:
   • Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor.
   • Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences and suggest complementary snacks or add-ons.
   • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
3. Maintain Cleanliness:
   • Keep the work area, including the drink preparation and serving stations, clean and well-organized at all times.
   • Follow proper hygiene and safety procedures, including regular cleaning and sanitization of equipment and utensils.
4. Stock Management:
   • Monitor inventory levels and inform the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
   • Assist in receiving and organizing shipments of ingredients and supplies.
5. Team Collaboration:
   • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient service and maintain a harmonious work environment.
   • Be open to cross-training for various roles within the cafe.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist customers in a friendly manner.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and recipes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
