Position Overview:
As a Kitchen Staff member at THub Cafe, you will play a vital role in the preparation and production of our delicious snacks, treats, and light food offerings. Your focus will be on maintaining the quality and consistency of our menu items, ensuring that customers receive an enjoyable and satisfying culinary experience.
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare and assemble a variety of snacks, light meals, and treats following THub Cafe’s recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure that all food items are presented attractively and meet the highest taste and freshness expectations.
- Food Safety and Hygiene:
- Strictly adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of ingredients, as well as cleanliness of kitchen equipment.
- Monitor and record food temperature to guarantee safe and fresh food products.
- Stock Management:
- Assist in managing inventory, including ordering and restocking ingredients as needed.
- Keep an organized and efficient kitchen space, including proper labeling and rotation of food items.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the entire THub Cafe team, including the Baristas and other staff, to ensure seamless service to customers.
- Be adaptable and open to cross-training for various roles within the cafe, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is a plus but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Knowledge of basic food safety principles and kitchen equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and menu items.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
